Los Premios Ditmar se otorgan en las convenciones National Science Fiction desde 1969 para reconocer obras de la ciencia ficción, fantasía y terror australianos
El nombre fue puesto en honor a un fan de Melbourne llamado Martin James Ditmar Jenssen, el premio se diferencia de los Premios Hugo de la World Science Fiction Convention en que se centran en los trabajos nacionales. Aunque a veces los premios incluyeron categorías internationales, en la actualidad son entregados exclusivamente a los australianos nominados (entre los que se inluyen ciudadanos australianos y residentes permanentes en Australia).
